I was a young homeowner with a flair for decorating, and I had several products in my bathroom with mixed up bottle colors that just didn’t go with my decor. So on I went on a shopping trip to find something that didn’t exist – a line of nice containers that could replace my skin and hair product bottles, and not just that basic dispenser that you might find paired only with a toothbrush holder at your local department store. Surely something out there could work for me? But alas, after several shopping stops, I gave up. So those products, even the ones that I used every day, just ended up out of sight in the cabinet. Or sometimes I’d just leave those mixed up bottles on the counter where they’d be accessible, even though they didn’t match my decor (or each other).

Fast-forward about 15 years later. I’d recently moved into my first home-of-our-own with my husband of 3 years, and was in a decorating frenzy. An old, familiar idea popped into my head — “wouldn’t it be great to have some really nice labeled bottles in my bathroom?” It was time to put the entrepreneurial spirit that has been bubbling beneath the surface into action.

And thus, Artanis Home was born. Started from our home in 2017, we have now grown into a warehouse facility with my husband and employee. With on-site capabilities and connections in cosmetics packaging and bottle decoration, Artanis Home can fulfill all of your coordinated storage needs. We’ve found quite a following with Bed & Breakfasts, boutique hotels, gyms, salons, spas, male grooming establishments, tattoo parlors, dental offices, and many other businesses, for which we design and create dispensers for guest amenities – branded, and custom designed for brand awareness reinforcement. We also offer printing and labelling for cosmetics bottles and jars with low minimums.

Store-bought products are designed to stand out on the shelf – not to suit your decor at home. We offer collections of refillable bottles and jars that are designed to coordinate together, in a variety of styles to suit your home or place of business.

Coordinated product lines include:

Bare Collection – For bottles that are unadorned and simple, these bottles and jars can be used for storage either alone or in sets where it is clear what the contents are. Or add your own decals and labels.

Minimalist Collection – Clean and elegant, with a small label/print, we have a variety of white plastic bottles for the shower and bathroom with pre-printed text for Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, and Face Wash. Available in 8 oz, 16 oz, and 19 oz sizes. For the countertop, glass bottles feature coordinated labels for Hand Soap, Dish Soap, and Lotion. Our Minimalist Collection is also customizable with thermal transfer labels.

Modern Apothecary Collection – For bottles and jars with a large chrome-accented label. A little bit modern, and little bit retro. Many titles available from Shampoo, to Feminine Wash, to coordinate all of your personal products with style. Available on clear and amber PET plastic bottles and glass bottles and jars. This is a favorite of rental property managers!

Sustainability is key. With large 16 oz bottles, you can refill from bulk bottles or at a refill shop and avoid tiny amenity bottles and single-use plastics. Keep in mind, refillable bottles can not only save on plastic waste, but also save money. Products bought in bulk are generally less expensive than in smaller bottles. Also, pump bottles allow you to control the amount of liquid products you use better than squeezable bottles, where it’s easy to squeeze too much. We offer both 2cc and 4cc pumps for controlled dispensing.

Clear and amber plastic bottles with a variety of pumps such as plastic, stainless steel, and black satin steel can be safely used in the shower. We recommend using glass bottles on the countertop in the kitchen and bathroom for an elegant look. Trigger sprayers, caps, and treatment pumps are also available.

Miron (UV VioletGlass) bottles and jars are new for us in 2022. We first visited Miron Headquarters late 2021 where we spent hours looking at the complete collection, asking questions, and trying samples. Miron uv glass bottles and jars are a beautiful, premium, heavy-weight glass with unique light-filtering properties to greatly extend the shelf life of their contents. Miron jars are practically black, and block out all harmful wavelengths of light, allowing only beneficial UV-A and InfraRed wavelengths to enter. We decided to test the amazing claims of long-term preservation of herbs, spices, and organic products with our own test, started in December of 2022. A cherry tomato was placed in a clear jar, amber jar, opaque powder coated jar, and a Miron jar at that time. Months later, all tomatoes shriveled (to varying degrees) in all jars EXCEPT the Miron jar. Confident that the jars truly are the best in the world as is often claimed by other retailers, we decided to add them to our product line in early July 2022. A curated collection of Miron UV jars are in stock, but all Miron jars, bottles, and closures are available by special order – and at lower prices than the major big name retailers.

All bottles and jars are customizable with a variety of label and print options. Even small cosmetics formulators can order professionally printed bottles for their product lines, due to our industry connections, even ceramic print is available at low minimums.

Options include:
Thermal Transfer Labels – Small black and white labels, similar to our Minimalist Collection.
Vinyl or Bopp Labels – White with full color print, clear, metallic, front-facing or wraparound, matte or glossy, large or small, we have it all! We can work with you to decide what is the best material and design for your purposes. Each comes at a different price point depending on quantity and number of variants.
Silkscreen print – We have connections with cosmetics packaging printers which print for us with low minimums and possibly with priority scheduling. Professional print on the plastic or glass bottle or jar can set your products or your amenity bottles apart and leave a lasting impression.
Ceramic print – For glass including Miron glass bottles and jars, ceramic print is the most durable of all printing directly on the surface. Print is silkscreened on and baked in a lehr for permanent bonding to the glass.

Our custom design process is an iterative process. Beginning with an idea of your style, branding specifications, we will create several designs for your review with previews of the intended bottle or jar. You can view the images, make suggestions, even request a completely different approach. We iterate until we hone in on the perfect label design. When approved, we submit the designs for printing the labels or for direct print on the containers. After labelling we ship the customized products to you.
