Archive Iowa specializes in the transfer and archiving of personal media in a variety of formats. This includes the preservation of most consumer formats including: 8mm, Super 8 and 16mm films, audio & video tapes as well as slides and pictures. We also provide digital editing services to create unique presentations and remembrance projects. All of our work is done in house and your satisfaction is guaranteed.

The owner and head archivist Samuel Pace-Tuomi has over 18 years of experience in the industry and acts as your personal archivist. Samuel has helped thousands of clients over the years and loves working with old media.
We offer a variety of options and services to our clients, some of which are not available at our competitors. We can master final files to Flash Drives, DVDs and Blu-rays. We offer a viewing station to our clients so you they can review videos tapes that are unlabeled. This gives our clients the chance to make sure it is the right tape before they pay for any service. We also offer a free cleaning with all of our film transfer services. Many services don’t offer a film cleaning but we do.

01. Video Tapes to Digital Files-
We transfer a wide variety of home video tapes. We can transfer 8mm, Hi-8, Beta, Mini DV, VHS, and VHS-C. We can provide you with a playable DVD or digital file for the same cost. For just a few dollars more get both. Volume discounts available.
02. Film to Digital Files-
We love old film! We offer a high quality transfer of material from 8mm, Super 8mm and 16mm film. Options for Super 8 sound and 16mm Optical Sound are available. We provide a free basic cleaning of all film reels before they are archived. Playable DVD, Blu-ray or Digital Files Available.
03. Photo & Slide Scanning-
We offer high quality scans of your slides and printed pictures. All scans include a free basic cleaning and dust removal. Volume Discounts available. Final Files exported to a Flash Drive or Data DVD.
04. Audio to Digital Files
We archive audio reels, micro cassettes and standard cassette tapes. Final files exported to a flash drive or playable CD.
