American Log Restoration

Our commitment to preserving the beauty and integrity of log homes sets us apart from other restoration services. Based in Michigan and serving the eastern half of the United States, we specialize in log replacement and repair for log homes. Our team of expert craftsmen is dedicated to delivering high-quality, consistent results that ensure the longevity and aesthetic appeal of your log home.

Our History

Our founder, Dave Tuxbury, has a rich history in the log home industry. His journey began over four decades ago during a vacation in western Montana, where he discovered a passion for log homes. This life-changing moment led him to immerse himself in the art of building handcrafted log homes. Upon returning to Michigan, Dave founded the first handcrafted log yard east of the Mississippi, which quickly gained nationwide recognition. His expertise and innovative techniques set industry standards, making American Log Restoration a trusted name in log home care.

Continuing Dave’s legacy, Ryan Sigsbey has taken the helm at American Log Restoration. Ryan is committed to upholding the high standards of quality and craftsmanship that have defined the company. With a deep respect for Dave’s work and a vision for the future, Ryan ensures that American Log Restoration remains a leader in the industry.
