Refresher Training

Our refresher training courses are the leading edge when it comes to renewing your forklift license. Not only do we go over all the things that are required by law, but we go over any new training materials that are available.
Keeping your employees up to date with refresher training courses help keep you and your employees compliant with OSHA Forklift certification requirements.
Refresher training, including an evaluation of the quality of that training, is required with OSHA forklift certification to ensure that employees are able to operate forklifts safely with the most up-to-date information.
Refresher training is required if the following occurs:
1. Unsafe operation
2. Accident or near-miss occurs
3. An evaluation of the operator’s skills indicates a need for it

Operating a narrow aisle lift truck safely demands skill and experience, that is why only trained and authorized people may use them. Narrow aisle lift trucks have the capacity to turn in tight aisles and restricted spaces and can lift loads to heights exceeding 28 feet. A fully loaded truck can weigh more than 12,000 pounds, that’s roughly equivalent to 4 cars.

So, what is a walkie stacker, A walkie stacker is a piece of equipment used in a warehouse setting to move and lift materials. These machines are able to lift loads and place them in racking or to stack on top of other materials.
A walkie stacker is a walk behind pallet truck with a mast for lifting pallets to heights. There are many different types of walkie stackers that are suited to different applications.

WHMIS Training

The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is Canada’s national hazard communication standard. The key elements of the system are hazard classification, cautionary labeling of containers, the provision of (material) safety data sheets ((M)SDSs), and worker education and training programs.
The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) has aligned with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). GHS is a worldwide system with a common set of rules for classifying hazardous products, common rules for labels, and a standard format for safety data sheets (SDSs).
As of December 1, 2018, there must be WHMIS 2015 labels and safety data sheets for all hazardous products in the workplace. This course familiarizes you with the WHMIS 2015 system and how it is used in workplaces.
