Advocates Online is a professional veteran advocacy organisation headquartered in Townsville, North Queensland, working with veterans, serving members and their families across Australia. Its VAPSA-accredited advocates help veterans understand what they’re entitled to, build properly evidenced claims from day one, and challenge Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) decisions that got it wrong. The guiding principle is simple: no veteran should face what comes after service alone.

Unlike volunteer-led advocacy, Advocates Online runs as a professional practice with quality review and a full-time team. Before any claim is lodged, advocates map a veteran’s service history, identify every claimable condition, and work with treating practitioners so the medical evidence answers the questions DVA assessors ask. The team is also well versed in the July 2026 move to a single compensation act (MRCA), and its fees are set out clearly up front, with a fortnightly payment plan available.

Services cover DVA claims and appeals, permanent impairment, Commonwealth Superannuation and service pension invalidity claims, child payments, Reservist entitlements, and support for families and carers. Through Ask An Advocate™, veterans can get straight answers, and a dedicated Clinician Line helps GPs prepare the reports DVA needs.

Founded and led by CEO Kelliegh Jackson, Advocates Online also sits at the centre of a wider community, including the sister charity Eyes Front, the Carry A Mate™ movement and the Unknown Veteran March. It was named Employer of the Year at the Townsville Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

Diib member review

“Diib can help us launch a new website with more than 50 pages of veteran advocacy content, track rankings for high-intent DVA searches, catch technical problems early, build local visibility in Townsville and other cities with large veteran communities, measure conversions, and get clear, prioritised recommendations we can act on quickly with a small team.”
