It all started in 1980 when Mark was in Rochester, NY: Mark Platt, the owner of A/C Filters 4 Less, went to a trade school in 1978, a Vocational Technical Center for Heating and Air Conditioning. He wanted to pursue his expertise in this field, so he moved to South Florida, where he became a certified mechanic after additional schooling and received his EPA License. After he finished school, he knew that Florida was the place to work in the HVAC industry.
After working in this field for many years and having extensive technical training, he decided to open an online business to sell AC and Furnace Filters. His business was unique from the start because he knew that most people were shopping online, so he had the insight to start his own online company. He also knew he had the technical knowledge to help his customers find suitable filters. A straightforward website quickly grew into a successful company. We shipped our first order within a week of opening the website; the rest is history.
Today, thanks to our excellent customers and incredible team, we take great pride and care in helping our customers receive a great product at a fair price and free shipping on every order.
