Created by the owner Barbara, who saw the real need of having dresses available to try on for the curvier figure.
Based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes but brides travel from all over the UK to us.
We are unique in that Size is never an issue, we start at size 16 and go to any size needed, we have size 44 plus to try on in store.

We have had our own About a Bride label since 2007, which enables us to offer changes to designs, like adding sleeves, train lengths, ordering in correct lengths etc.
Unlike a lot of Bridal shops our prices are all available on our website, and we cater for all budgets.
We offer ordering in, and off the peg for those needing a dress that are short of time.
Buying your Wedding dress should be an enjoyable experience, we offer totally private appointments and payment plans to help spread the cost.
With around 180 plus size wedding dresses in store, it is rare that a Bride doesn’t find just the dress she wants.
We have a good social media following, where past brides often recommend and leave nice reviews.
