The business was founded by Josh Wintersgill who has spent 28 years as a powered wheelchair user and brought these products to life from his own challenges, particularly from travelling as a wheelchair user.
Able Move has supplied its products to over 15 countries and has won many awards from UK Disabled Entrepreneur Awards and GB Young Entrepreneur of the year. Able Move successfully secured investment from easyGroup, also known for its leading European Airline easyJet and Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou who believes Able Move will become as well known as Stannah has for stair lifts.
