Back then she was one of few in these areas. In 1996 when we started our charter company with just two boats, we were one of the first charter companies in Croatia. With every new season we were adding new boats to our fleet. Now we have many boats and all of them are in top shape. The way we maintain our boats is something that we are very proud of and our customers appreciate it. None of our boats have promotion materials on it, which gives our clients additional privacy.
After 2008 when charter business exploded in Croatia it was not easy to keep up as the bigger players entered the market, but we stayed true to our mission: Offer perfectly maintained boats at affordable prices. Growth was not the priority, it was quality. Large proportion of our clients are returning clients. Satisfied with our service they spread the word, and we truly appreciate it.
Our charter base is in Split, a city known for its long and impressive history. It is a central hub of region called Dalmatia which was, during the last 2000 years, under the control of many different cultures and they all left a lasting mark. So, it is not just sailing experience with a backdrop of natural beauty of Croatian islands that people love, it is also historical mosaic that tells a story of human spirit that adapts to challenges that history throws at it.
These days life is far from perfect but we live in comfort that was unimaginable just 2 generations ago and sailing in Mediterranean is no longer privilege of rich few. Sailboat vacation is now truly affordable to Europe’s middle class as price per person per day is less then average AirBNB accommodation. Added bonus, with this accommodation, is that every day you can wake up in a different city, village or a bay. That feeling of disconnect from everyday life is one of the things that keeps clients coming back for more.
On all our boats, in addition to standard sailing equipment, we offer free Wi-Fi internet that keeps you, for better or worse, connected. Solar panels and new generation of battery storage are now standard thing on our boats as renewable energy plays hand in hand with preservation of nature. Two days of autonomy is something you can rely on and in mid-season you can get even three days. Another great benefit, that was a recent development in charter industry, is an adoption of electric toilets. Just press a button! Long gone are the days of manual toilets pumps. For people that don’t want to deal with summer heat we have boats with air conditioning for additional comfort.
