Founder & Publisher
At the helm is Andrea Breznay, a seasoned publisher, writer, and photographer. A graduate of University of California, Santa Cruz, Andrea relocated to Naples, Florida, where she founded and published several regional magazines before returning home to launch Monterey Bay Parent. As publisher, she combines her editorial expertise with a passion for family life—she’s a mother, a grandmother, and the current president of the Parenting Media Association, a national trade group for parenting media.

Under her leadership, the magazine has become a trusted support for local parents, sharing insights drawn from her own journey and deep roots in the community.

The Monterey Bay Parent team includes Jenna Keisling who handles sales and marketing and Katherine Stevens who handles distribution and event support. A team of dedicated freelance writers are onboard and have received numerous awards from Parenting Media Association for their work.
