A bit about us.

The Mighty Booths was founded by Duncan Wheaton, who left behind a corporate role to build something meaningful — a business built on people, creativity, and the joy of events. What started as a single open-air booth has grown into one of Perth’s most trusted and versatile photo booth providers, with 14+ unique booth types, a full-time warehouse and operations team, and a loyal client base that books us year after year.

The Mighty Booths management team doesn’t chase the spotlight — but they obsess over the details. From how the backdrop is lit to how props are packed, they quietly built a company culture where consistency matters and corners aren’t cut. Many of our staff have been with us for years — trained in-house and cross-trained across different setups — and we think that shows in the quality of our service.

Fun facts & behind-the-scenes quirks

We’re based in Morley but travel far and wide. While most of our bookings are within 50km of Perth, we’ve brought booths to Albany, Kalgoorlie, Margaret River, Geraldton, and beyond.

Our Mirror Booth, though popular, is our most logistically challenging — it’s heavy, so we can’t take this upstairs if there is no lift, and it takes up so much space in the van. But we still love it.

Our warehouse is a real working space, not a showroom. Props are kept in tubs, flower walls and greenery walls are rolled and stored on racks, and there’s always a team member prepping for the weekend ahead.

We regularly run multiple photo booths plus props and decor at a single event, each with a different theme and host — with clients who rebooks us year after year.

Our booths have survived a few break in attemps, delivery van breakdowns, personal life issues and many challenges over the years.

The Operations team personally tests every new booth before release — sometimes at real events, heavily discounted, just to ensure we get it right before going public.
