Friar's Bush is an ancient graveyard located in Belfast that has been restored by the non-profit organization Cairde na Cille CIC, turning it from a state of dereliction and neglect to a revitalized community space. Hosting various cultural events and tours, the site promotes local heritage and provides an atmosphere for spiritual and cultural engagement among visitors. The project involves community participation, with volunteers who have restored over 70 monuments to date. Donations are encouraged to further aid in restoration efforts. The graveyard also offers a range of tours and special events, making it a unique and educational spot in Belfast.
