I did mobile blasting for 30 years and manufactured and sold lots of soda and media blast pots to customers coast to coast, north to south.

This is why I pass this on to you. The two-stage oil/water/particle filter shown above is what I sell with every aftercooler and to every owner of different manufactures of blast pots. Your bowl extractors you normally find in pneumatics SUCK! They are rated to work at the flow volume they are rated for so they would SLING moisture and oil to the outside walls to sheet and run down to the petcock. I did soda blasting and we could drop our blast line pressure as low as 25 PSI. Which meant if I had a 185 compressor with a #4 nozzle with blast pressure set at 50 PSI, the demand is 47 CFM. demand on a 200 CFM extractor. Little to no SLING! This two-stage extractor operates from its full flow rated capacity down to 10% of that flow. A 250 CFM two-stage will properly “squeegee” air down to 25 CFM!. AND will do so with less pressure drop than a cyclonic bowl extractor. This two-stage also filters particle down to 5 micron and when paired with a quality aftercooler, provides the first two stages of Grade D breathing air. We pull our blast helmet air off AFTER it comes out of the two-stage then run it to our existing blast helmet filter then into the Kool Tube. Trust me, makes a hell of a difference to how well the helmet air is cooled then. Big deal in the summer. My pairing also only drops approx. 6 PSI of pressure across the aftercooler and the two-stage extractor. We have pairings for 250 CFM and 500 CFM compressors. AftercoolerSales. Com
