The company was founded in 2005 by Trea Tijmens, CEO, international matchmaker and award-winning dating expert.

A former headhunter, Ms Tijmens, observed that many executives were successful in all areas except for the most important one: Love! She launched SuccessMatch in 2005 and, for many years, simply introduced successful single professionals. Although that was fun and exciting, the success rate of clients being in a happy relationship by the end of their membership term was extremely low (between 3 and 5%) and stayed low.
Ms. Tijmens understood that it takes a lot more than simply going on some dates to help clients transition from where they are when they contact SuccessMatch to being in a happy relationship with the right partner.
She studied everything she could about dating and relationships and now works more holistically with all of her clientele. Her methodology is based on the three pillars of;
