- Ensuring the property remains secure as live-in sitters
- Collecting mail and handling phone calls or deliveries
- Promptly reporting any maintenance or security concerns to homeowners
Pet and Animal Care
- Providing daily feeding, exercise, and attention for pets, adhering to specific care instructions for each animal
- Administering medication and maintaining regular pet routines
- Offering companionship to pets during the owner’s absence
- Including regular dog walks and playtime as part of our care
Indoor Plant Care
- Watering houseplants and ensuring they stay healthy
- Attending to any specific care instructions for rare or delicate plants
Outdoor Plant and Garden Care
- Watering outdoor plants for 20–30 minutes daily, included in the basic package
- Lawn mowing, weeding, and general garden maintenance (charged at an hourly rate)
General Household Management
- Monitoring and responding to household alarms or unexpected issues, such as power outages
- Managing minor repairs or calling in appropriate services as needed
- Keeping the home tidy and presentable for the homeowner’s return
Emergency Response
- Familiarity with key systems like the electrical board and water stopcock for handling emergencies
- Contacting emergency services or repair professionals when necessary
Pre-assignment Consultation
- Offering the possibility to meet with the homeowner and their pet or dog before the assignment, when possible
- Providing a comprehensive 50-point Homeowner Checklist to ensure all homeowner instructions are followed accurately and thoroughly.
