Our Story
The inception of LandyCampers is rooted in a love story and a shared passion for adventure. Max, a mechanical engineer turned surf instructor, met Bela, a digital marketing expert from Berlin, during a sabbatical in Morocco. Max’s Land Rover Defender, which doubled as his home, sparked the idea for LandyCampers. Recognizing the excitement and curiosity it generated among surf students and fellow travellers, they envisioned a business that combined the rugged charm of Land Rovers with the growing trend of glamping.

Our Fleet

Our current fleet includes two meticulously restored Land Rovers:

Defender 90: Ideal for solo travellers or couples, this compact model is equipped with a single Thule Approach rooftop tent, sleeping up to two people. Despite its size, it’s packed with all the essentials for an off-grid adventure.

Defender 110: Perfect for families or groups, this larger model features two Thule Approach rooftop tents, accommodating up to six people. It comes with an array of amenities, including a lounge area, a fully equipped kitchen, and ample storage space.

Both vehicles are equipped with solar panels, battery generators, fridges, and high-tech camping gear, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free camping experience.
