-TAPP brand all -weather USB power ports. Note that the 3BR Powersports TAPP all-weather USB power port is unique in that it is all-weather when a USB cable is plugged in. This is by virtue of the patented TAPP CAPP which provides a seal between the cable and the power port.
-Baryl brand all weather low voltage power ports
– X~PWR(tm) brand External power kits for action cameras, i.e. GoPro, DJI & Insta360 cameras.
– Sun shields for action cameras
– Combination X~PWR(tm) external power kits with sun shields
ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS
X~PWR(tm) action camera external power kits allow recording for long durations without changing the camera battery.
Sun shields protect the camera from overheating due to solar radiation. This allows recording in direct sunlight on the hottest days without worrying about the camera overheating.
TAPP and Baryl power ports provide the ability to power USB and low voltage devices in the harshest environments.
Typical users include:
-Powersports enthusiasts, e.g., motorcycle, snowmobiles, ATVs and side-by-sides, etc..
– Anglers, especially tournament anglers who are required to record their catch in order to be eligible for weigh in. With external powered action cameras they can record a full day of fishing without changing batteries,
– Winter sports, skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling etc.
-Off road adventurers bicyclists, rock climbers, hikers

OUR COMPANY
3BR Powersports, LLC, is a family owned, family run small business dedicated to providing high quality accessory products for the outdoor enthusiast. As avid powersports riders we found that we had accessory needs that couldn’t be met with available products so we made our own. Other riders liked what they saw and asked if we could make parts for them. It got to a point where we were so busy hand making parts that we had to make a decision whether to create a small company to build products using higher volume techniques or farm the products out to someone else. Thus began 3BR Powersports.

Don Blackwell P.E.
Don is a registered mechanical engineer in the State of California (thus the P.E.) with over 40 years of experience in ruggedized electro-mechanical products for military and industrial applications. His design portfolio includes ruggedized computers for harsh environments, mission critical military life support equipment and flight qualified computers for military aircraft.
Don holds more than a dozen patents four, including one pending on 3BR Powersports products.
He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and past chairman of the SAE Mid-California section.
Don graduated from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
